Thierry Henry slams Mohamed Salah for his pre-match comments before the Champions League final

Previously, Sports Brief reported that Thierry Henry had criticized Mohamed Salah for his pre-match comments before the Champions League final. Salah was on record a couple of times expressing his desire to get revenge over Real Madrid.

This year’s final was a repeat of the 2018 final where Salah went off injured in the first half. Real Madrid went on to win 3-1, a result that left a sour taste on Salah’s mouth.

Speaking after beating Villarreal in the semi-finals to book a place in the final, Salah was asked which team he’d prefer to face in the final between Real Madrid and Manchester City. The prolific forward bullishly said he’d rather have the Spanish champions to exact his revenge.
