Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has been voted the best player in the history of the English Premier League. The legendary striker bagged more votes than anyone else in the poll conducted by Betfair.

Current Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo finished in second place, with former Newcastle United striker and Premier League's all-time top scorer Allan Shearer completing the podium places.

Henry played for Arsenal between 1999 and 2007, where he helped Arsene Wenger's side to two English Premier League titles. he was part of the invincible squad of 3004 that went the whole season without losing a single game.
