The Hearts shot-stopper would have to dislodge Jojo Wollacott as the current No.1 for the senior men's national team, who took over the post from the injury blighted Richard Ofori.

Below are the comments sampled from Twitter:

@kwamebenaiah was concise with his praise for Attah but summed it up with two photos to highlight his point.

This save by Richard Attah summarizes his performance today.

@oseigedo likened Attah's remarkable save to that of Okomfo Anokye's statue in the Ashanti region.

My best moment of the Super clash was this save from Richard Attah. It reminded me of this Okomfo Anokye statue in Kumasi. #Richard Attah

Ghanaian sports commentator @addojunr described Richard Attah as a beast between the sticks.

@benjideflowman, on the other hand, went a step further with his praises as he recommended him to the senior men's national team handlers.

@Mrpac_TL campaigned locally-based players should be offered more opportunities with the Black Stars while stressing Richard Attah should be the first-choice goalie ahead of Wollacott.

I still don't understand why JoJo Wallocot is Black Stars first keeper, Richard Attah is far ahead of him , we should give our local players the chance to exhibit their talent.

@knickknack473 rehashed the claims of @benjideflowman

Hearts play out a goalless stalemate with archrivals Asante Kotoko

The first instalment of the Super Clash between Ghana's most glamorous clubs Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko ended in a goalless stalemate.

Hearts coach Samuel Boadu shades Asante Kotoko in post-match presser

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that head coach of Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has said the performance of his team in the goalless stalemate against Asante Kotoko was not the best.

The Ghana Premier League champions were held at home by their fiercest rivals to end a disappointing first round for the Phobians.

And although they produced an improved performance, Boadu says it was not the best from his boys and even the junior team could have beaten Asante Kotoko.
