Jadon Sancho has spoken about his future following his impressive performance in the Champions League on Wednesday night, May 1.

The English winger was the man of the moment as Borussia Dortmund silenced Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their semi-final fixture.

According to ESPN, the match saw Sancho become the first Englishman ever to complete 11 dribbles in a single Champions League game.

His impressive display saw Dortmund edge PSG, with Niclas Fullkrug scoring the all-important goal to put the German giants in the driving seat ahead of the second leg in France.

Sancho's performance came at a time when he is facing an uncertain football future with Manchester United after he fell out with Erik ten Hag.

Sancho speaks on his future

However, speaking on Wednesday night after helping Dortmund beat PSG, the England international maintained that his focus is entirely on the present.

When asked if he will be staying at Dortmund next season or he will return to Old Trafford, Sancho said via Fabrizio Romano:

“I really don't know. I'm focused on the present right now.”

Sancho sealed a sensational reunion with Dortmund during the January transfer window on loan from United until the end of the season.

His return to the club came after he was frozen out of the Red Devils team by ten Hag following a public spat.

It remains to be seen if the former Manchester City star would be willing to return to Old Trafford in the event ten Hag gets sacked.

The Dutch tactician is equally facing an uncertain future with the Premier League giants following a disastrous run of form and results.

Rio Ferdinand praises Sancho

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Rio Ferdinand expressing his admiration for Sancho after witnessing the winger's breathtaking performance against PSG in the Champions League.

Sancho, with his creative brilliance on full display, stole the limelight from Kylian Mbappe during the clash.
