  • The Parisians have reportedly offered the Nigerian star a bumper salary package
  • Arsenal and Chelsea are also said to be interested in signing Osimhen this summer

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered Victor Osimhen a mega offer to join the Ligue 1 giants next summer as they continue their search for Kylian Mbappe’s replacement.

According to Complete Sports, PSG is close to wrapping up a deal for Osimhen as the reigning French champions are ready to pay his entire release clause, which is estimated to be worth €120m.

This latest move by PSG has seen them move above the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United who are all rumoured to be interested in signing the Nigerian in the summer.

Osimhen, despite his injuries and Africa Cup of Nations absence, has scored 14 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.

What PSG is offering Osimhen?

Meanwhile, PSG has offered Osimhen a four-year contract as the Ligue 1 giants intensify their pursuit of the Nigerian forward who still has one year left on his contract with Napoli, BSN Sports reports.

In addition, the Parisians are offering the 25-year-old striker a whopping €13 million annual salary and full control of his image rights should he join them next season.

Osimhen is reportedly Napoli’s highest earner and the second highest-paid footballer in the Serie A, and his move to PSG will see the Nigerian become one of the highest-paid players in the world.

Napoli identifies Osimhen’s replacement

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Napoli have identified Chelsea transfer target, Jonathan David, as the perfect replacement for Osimhen this summer should the Nigerian leave.

David is having an impressive season with OSC, scoring 23 goals and providing seven assists in 39 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants.

With Osimhen's departure said to be imminent, Napoli are already seemingly planning for life without the Nigerian international and are linked with different strikers.
