  • Bayern's Harry Kane added another goal to his collection on Tuesday, April 9
  • The striker’s goal against Arsenal was his 15th against the North Londoners
  • Arsenal are ranked fourth in the list of clubs Kane scored the most against

Gabriel Jesus recently said Harry Kane was the best finisher in world football, and he arguably isn't wrong.

One thing that is almost certain whenever Kane takes to the pitch is his name on the scoresheet. Add Arsenal to the equation, and there is a higher chance of the England captain finding the net.

Kane was on target against the Gunners again on Tuesday, April 9, in the entertaining Champions League quarter-final clash as Bayern clawed a 2-2 draw.

Tottenham’s all-time goal scorer was predictably met with a hostile reception on his return to the Emirates, but that did not faze him as he slotted in a goal from the penalty spot after William Saliba tripped Leroy Sane at the end of a pacey run.

That was Kane’s 15th goal against the Gunners, as he continued his streak of scoring against Tottenham’s bitter rivals, months after leaving the Premier League.

Kane’s career goal record

Despite still having a fairly long way to go before he retires, Kane’s numbers are quite staggering.

The Tottenham academy graduate has made 552 career appearances, scoring 346 goals and registering 90 assists.

With such numbers, it is expected that Kane has several against the same team. Sports Brief now takes a look at the forward’s favourite victims, and they all happen to be Premier League teams.

West Ham, 11 goals

Fans who are aware of Kane’s goal-scoring record will know the striker tends to up his game in London derbies.

This is evident in his impressive goal haul against West Ham, who have conceded 11 goals to Kane’s prowess.

Eight of those strikes came in Kane’s last 11 league meetings against the Hammers.

Southampton, 12 goals

Kane’s performances against Southampton have always been excellent, and this can be seen through his numbers against the Saints.

The England captain has an impressive 11 goals against the team, including seven goals in his last 10 appearances against them.

Everton, 15 goals

Tottenham against Everton matches in recent years have provided great entertainment in the goals department.

The fact that this fixture tends to be a high-scoring affair makes it highly plausible for Kane to get onto the score sheet; or at least before he moved to Germany.

Kane has scored twice against the Toffees on six occasions. Combine this with his goal in Tottenham’s 1-0 win in May 2015, amongst other goals, and the striker has an impressive 15 goals against the Merseysiders, according to StatMuse.

Arsenal, 15 goals

Arsenal is the only Premier League top six side that Kane is fond of scoring against.

His goal on Tuesday, April 9, took his tally against the Gunners to 15 goals, with eight of them coming from the penalty spot.

Leicester City, 20 goals

Leicester City is a club that shudders whenever they learn they are coming up against Harry Kane.

The Foxes' chances of facing the striker in the near future are very slim, and this will come as good news for the club, which is presumably tired of Kane always getting the better of them.

The Bayern forward has scored more goals against Leicester than any other club in his career, with 20 goals in 20 games, according to AS.

Harry Kane taunted by Arsenal fans

Sports Brief also reported on how Kane was taunted by Arsenal fans after Bayern’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal.

During his post-match interview, the English striker was subjected to savage chants by Arsenal supporters, who reminded the striker of the fact that Bayern were effectively out of the Bundesliga title race.
