Sports Brief looks at the best seven celebrations by Premier League players this season after Kudus' latest style.

Premier League stars with cold celebrations

1. Mohamed Kudus

Kudus’ celebration since his move to England is to sit on the barricade and look around as if observing the stadium. He rebranded it after scoring against Freiburg in the Europa League last night; he picked up a stewards chair to sit near the corner flag and was surrounded by his teammates.

2. Cole Palmer

The Manchester City youngster moved to Chelsea for game time and has been the Blues' best player. His goal celebration has earned him the nickname 'Cold Palmer' from teammate, Noni Madueke, as he gestures as if feeling cold each time he scores.

3. Jeremy Doku

Pep Guardiola recruited the young Belgian winger from Rennes in the summer for £55 million. His goal celebration is the giddy dance, and even though he has not scored much, he has done it in all three kits this season.

4. Phil Foden

Foden is having his best season for Man City this year. He has netted 11 league goals and provided seven assists. He does the long knee slide most times but has added the sniper celebration this season. He stays on one knee and points to the fans as if he were firing a gun. Per SportBible, he claimed it was inspired by his teammates calling him a sniper in training.

5. Douglas Luiz

The Brazilian midfielder equalised for Aston Villa in their 3-2 loss to Manchester United and hit the shimmy celebration in front of Andre Onana and Raphael Varane, which angered the duo.

6. James Maddison

Maddison jumped ship after Leicester City were relegated and moved to Tottenham Hotspur. Injuries have plagued his season, but it has not stopped him from hitting the dart celebration each time he scores out of love for the sport.

7. Cameron Archer

How poetic to celebrate like your name. The Sheffield United midfielder draws arrows from an imaginary quiver and shoots like an archer that he is. He told BBC Sports that his brother told him to do it.

Douglas Luiz explains shimmy celebration

Sports Brief previously reported on Douglas Luiz explaining his shimmy celebration after scoring the first goal during Aston Villa’s 3-2 loss to Manchester United.

The Brazilian midfielder dispelled rumours that he meant to disrespect Onana and Varane, claiming it was a traditional dance of the Rio Carnival in his home country.
