Arsenal

The long wait is finally over. Arsenal reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2010 on Tuesday night, beating Porto in a dramatic penalty shootout.

The match went into penalties after the second leg finished 1-0 in favour of Arsenal. Leandro Trossard scored the equaliser on aggregate in the 41st minute.

In the shootout, it was David Raya who played a starring role for the Gunners, per The Guardian. He made two fantastic saves going to his left to secure Arsenal's place in the last 8.

Barcelona

The Catalan giants advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after beating Napoli 4-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16.

Barcelona ran riot in the second leg, scoring three goals past Napoli to secure the victory. Fermin Lopez and Joao Cancelo broke the game wide open, scoring two goals in a two-minute span early in the first half.

Robert Lewandowski then sealed the win for Barca, scoring another Champions League goal in the 83rd minute, per Eurosport.

Manchester City

Manchester City reached the last 8 of the Champions League after beating FC Copenhagen 6-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16.

The defending champions recorded a pair of 3-1 victories over the two legs to secure their place in the last 8.

They remained perfect in the tournament, extending their winning streak in this year's Champions League to eight games.

Real Madrid

The 14-time Champions League winners booked a spot in the last 8 after beating RB Leipzig 2-1 on aggregate in the Round of 16.

Vinicius Junior gave Real Madrid some breathing room with a 65th-minute strike. Willi Orban struck back immediately for the visitors, scoring in the 68th minute to give some anxious moments to the home fans inside the Bernabeu.

Real managed to hold on to their advantage as they clinched their place in the Champions League quarters for the fourth consecutive season.

Paris Saint-Germain

PSG advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2023-24 Champions League after defeating Real Sociedad 4-1 on aggregate in their Round of 16 clash.

Kylian Mbappe starred for PSG over the two legs, scoring three of the French side's four goals. With the win, Paris Saint-Germain reached the quarter-finals of the European Cup for the first time since the 2020-21 season.

Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich's quest to land a trophy this season is still alive. The Bavarian giants reached the last 8 of the Champions League after recording a 3-1 aggregate win over Lazio in the Round of 16.

Bayern erased a 1-0 deficit in the second leg, with Harry Kane inspiring the comeback. He scored twice in the crunch clash at Allianz Arena to lead the German side to the quarters.
