2024 Champions League quarterfinalists

Manchester City

Manchester City eased past FC Copenhagen in the Round of 16, beating them 6-2 on aggregate to advance to the quarter-finals.

The defending champions replicated their 3-1 victory in the first leg at the Etihad Stadium to complete the total domination.

Manuel Akanji, Julian Alvarez, and Erling Haaland scored for the hosts, who extended their winning streak in this season's Champions League to eight matches.

Real Madrid

The 14-time Champions League winners are through to the last 8 after completing a 2-1 aggregate win over RB Leipzig in the Round of 16.

Vinicius Junior gave Real Madrid a 1-0 lead in the second leg and a 2-0 cushion on aggregate with a strike in the 65th minute. Willi Orban responded immediately for the visitors, scoring in the 68th minute to give some nervy moments to the home fans.

RB Leipzig weren't able to find that all-important second goal as Real booked their place in the Champions League quarters for the fourth straight season.

Paris Saint-Germain

PSG booked their place in the quarter-finals of the 2023-24 Champions League after beating Real Sociedad 4-1 on aggregate in their Round of 16 tie on Tuesday night.

Kylian Mbappe starred for PSG in the second leg, scoring twice in the 15th and 56th minutes to put the outcome beyond doubt.

With the victory, Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since the 2020-21 season, per ESPN.

Bayern Munich

The dream lives on for Bayern Munich. The Bavarian giants secured their spot in the last 8 of the Champions League with a 3-1 aggregate win over Lazio in their Round of 16 tie.

Bayern headed into their second-leg clash with Lazio in a spot of bother after losing the first leg 1-0 at Stadio Olimpico.

They turned things around at Allianz Arena, with Harry Kane sparking the revival. The Englishman helped level the scores on aggregate with a diving header in the 38th minute.

Thomas Muller made it 2-0 for Bayern on the night with a header of his own before Kane sealed the victory for the hosts with a close-range strike in the 66th minute.

Kane reacts to Bayern's CL win

Sports Brief recently reported on Kane's reaction to Bayern's victory.

The 30-year-old said that he hopes the Lazio win will be the turning point in their season.

Kane has been superb for Bayern this campaign, scoring 33 goals in all competitions.
