Juventus Fan Takes Swipe at Inter Milan for Champions League Final Loss to Manchester City
- A Juventus fan took time to remind Inter Milan's supporters of their Champions League final loss
- Inter Milan narrowly lost the 2023/2024 final to Manchester City courtesy of a Rodri strike
- Juventus and the Simone Inzaghi-coached team shared spoils in a Serie A clash on November 26
A section of Juventus fans showed their ruthless side when they taunted Inter Milan fans for losing the 2023 Champions League final.
The two titans met in a decisive and intriguing Serie A clash at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy on November 26.
Dusan Vlahovic broke the deadlock in the 27th minute before Lautaro Martinez combined with Marcus Thuran yet again to restore parity five minutes later.
The result leaves Simone Inzaghi at the top of the table, two points ahead of the Old Lady, who have undergone rejuvenation this season.
New footage of the game shows a Juventus fan holding a Rodri shirt during the game.
The Manchester City midfielder scored the only goal of the Champions League final on June 10. The evenly-contested game in Istanbul was decided by a pure moment of quality from Rodri in the second half when a rebound fell to him inside the area.
He curled the ball past Andre Onana to hand the Pep Guardiola-coached side their first-ever Champions League trophy.
The taunt was ironic given that the Nerazzurri have won more (3) Champions League titles than Juventus(2). Additionally, whilst Juventus were kicked out of Europe last season after suffering a points deduction, Simone Inzaghi's side have already qualified for this season's Champions League round of 16.
