How old is Asisat Oshoala? The Nigerian footballer is 28 years old as of 2023. She was born on October 9 1994, in Ikorodu, Nigeria. She was born into a polygamous family of a father with two wives and seven siblings.
Her parents-being, shopkeepers and of the middle class-were, were rather strict and not in support of her playing football. The only supportive family member was her late grandmother, who often intervened when she was chased out of the house or denied food for playing football.
Education
For her schooling, she attended Air Force Primary school in Victoria Island before moving to Aunty Ayo International School, both in Lagos, for her secondary school, and graduated in 2009.
Career
Asisat began her career with Nigerian clubs Rivers Angels and FC Robo. She joined Liverpool in England's Women's Super League in 2015. She made a total of nine appearances and scored three goals.

In January 2016, Liverpool reported that a transfer bid from Arsenal triggered the release clause in Oshoala's contract and that she was talking with the London club about personal terms.
She joined Arsenal in March 2016 and assisted the club in winning the 2016 FA Women's Cup Final on May 14. Oshoala appeared in 13 games for the club in 2016 and scored two goals.
Oshoala joined FC Barcelona Femen on loan until the end of the season on January 31, 2019. They announced her full transfer to the club and extension until 2022 on May 31, 2019.
She signed a two-year contract extension with Barcelona on March 10, 2022, keeping her at the club until June 30, 2024. She has scored 83 goals in her 89 appearances for the club.
