The Chippa United manager, during an interview after the draw, confirmed his disappointment at not getting one of the top three sides, according to a report by iDiskiTimes.

"I said if it was possible I could get [Mamelodi] Sundowns while they are still limping after a loss of the final. After not getting Sundowns, my prayer was to get [Kaizer] Chiefs or [Orlando] Pirates," he said.

In a video on social media, Mammila also explained his reasons for preferring to face one of the big three teams in the second round of the cup competition.

He added: "Disappointed with the draw, as I said; my wish was to play in a full stadium in PE, which is good for football, but nevertheless, I got Stellenbosch, a hardworking team, a team that can run the whole 90 minutes, a team that proved to everyone to be a good team."

Sundowns got an easy tie as they will face TS Galaxy, while Chiefs and Pirates will face AmaZulu FC and Cape Town Spurs respectively, as cited by Goal.
