He also scored in both legs of the UEFA Europa League round of 16 playoff tie against FC Barcelona, as well as in the Carabao Cup final victory over Newcastle to cap off a successful month.

As revealed by the league's official website, he is the second player to win three awards in a season after Liverpool's Mohamed Salah in the 2017/18 season.
He is also the first to win the award consecutively after Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan, who won in January and February 2021.
“It's obviously always good to be amongst the conversations. To be awarded this Player of Month, I feel like especially in the last three months, you could give it to anyone,” Rashford told MUTV after winning the award.

Rashford appeals to United fans
The month of February may have been good for Man United but March started on an embarrassing note as they lost 7-0 to fierce rivals, Liverpool at Anfield.
It took Rashford almost 24 hours to break his silence and he expressed eagerness to right things with the United fans, as earlier reported by Sports Brief.
The Red Devils star brought back a usual mantra that rang during the reign of former manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, by asking fans to trust the process.
