Richards Bay FC coach, Vasili Manousakis is a heartbroken man.
He and the players witnessed tragedy as Siphamandla 'Spepe' Mtolo collapsed and died while the team was practicing.
Reliving captain Mtolo's last moments, the coach told Sport24:
"The players were unbelievable, the entire squad, everyone. They were there, taking off his potency socks and whatever was needed, passing water, ice, whatever the frontier required at that time. We didn't even blink, and the team manager had his car on the field because, obviously, there was a massive risk in waiting for the arrival of the ambulance."

For context, the Rich Boyz were in the final minutes of a 15-minute-long closing training drill before heading to the showers when 'Spepe' collapsed.
Club general manager, Jeffery Fakude was the one who rushed him to the hospital in his car after Nkosinathi Mthembu, the team physio, had done his best to stabilise Mtolo after the incident.
The Premier Soccer League said in a statement that all matches this week would hold a minute of silence for Mtolo, IOL reported.
Sports Brief also reported that in other tragic news, Orlando Pirates superfan, Dejan Miladinovic has passed away.
The Serbian national became a popular figure for religiously attending fixtures of the Bucaneers and Bafana Bafana.
Miladinovic had been admitted to the Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital a month earlier for an unknown ailment.

During a MTN Ligue 1 match between Racing Club Abidjan and Sol FC, Moustapha Sylla collapsed on the pitch.
The defender later succumbed to the medical emergency, which was later confirmed to have been a heart attack.
