Adding flesh to the never-ending backlash, a former French tennis icon, Marion Bartoli, has chided the Brazilian and even claims Les Parisiens are better without him.

“Neymar is a huge football star. But at the moment, PSG is better without him," the 2013 Wimbledon champion said as quoted by Topskills Sports UK.
“PSG plays better without him: he walks too much, he has become too soft physically...plus Mbappé who can make the difference against Bayern.”

Despite the backlash, Neymar has churned out 11 goals and 13 assists across 20 Ligue 1 matches this campaign, per Transfermarkt.

Fans call Neymar "biggest flop"

Neymar has been receiving heavy backlash from Paris Saint-Germain supporters after another underwhelming performance for the Ligue 1 champions.

The Brazilian star was part of PSG's starting XI alongside Lionel Messi, as they lost their most recent league game to Rennes 1-0 on Sunday, sparking fans to turn on the Selecao star.

According to journalist Daniel Riolo, the 30-year-old forward has failed to find his spark after the World Cup and slammed Neymar’s transfer from Barcelona to the Parisians, Sportskeeda reports.

Neymar determined to stay at PSG

Despite numerous reports linking the Brazilian with a summer move, Neymar is certain to remain a Paris Saint-Germain player after the 2022-23 season, Sports Brief reported.

The Brazilian winger has been a huge controversial figure at Parc des Princes and most recently clashed with PSG’s sporting director Luis Campos after the loss to Monaco.

According to Get France Football News, Neymar intends to remain with PSG beyond this season despite and intends to snub any attempt to offload him out of the club.
