According to journalist, Daniel Riolo, the 30-year-old forward has failed to find his spark after the World Cup, and slammed Neymar’s transfer from Barcelona to the Parisians, Sportskeeda reports.

"He made fun of all the PSG supporters by having a good half-season, because he had a World Cup to prepare for. In terms of recruitment, transfer, salary, it's the biggest flop in the history of football."

Meanwhile, PSG manager, Christophe Galtier has slammed his players - including Neymar - after the Parisians suffered a shock defeat to Rennes, Daily Post reports.

Galtier slammed his attackers as he claimed they lacked grit, rhythm, intensity and verticality against the host, and blamed this as the reason for the French giant's loss.

A second-half goal from Hamari Traore gave Rennes all three points, condemning PSG to their second loss since the resumption of the league football after the World Cup break.

PSG ready to sell Neymar

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Neymar facing an exit from PSG at the end at the end of the 2022/23 season, as the French champions are reportedly ready to offload the Brazilian winger.

The 30-year-old has had a topsy-turvy campaign in his time in Paris, due to a number of controversies and most notably, his fallout with teammate Kylian Mbappe.

The former Barcelona winger's contract is slated to expire in 2026, but PSG is said to be willing to let him leave to another club in exchange for a sizeable transfer fee.
