La Liga club, Celta Vigo are in dire need of the best strikers in the world at the moment as the club is in a relegation dogfight in Spain’s top-tier league.
The former league giants are presently in the 16th spot on the La Liga table, having garnered just 20 points from their 19 games this season.
Celta Vigo striker and club captain, Iago Aspas has now revealed the drastic and costly measures he would take to help the club turn its fortunes around, Sportskeeda reports.
“If it were up to me, then [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo, we sign before the deadline closes. But I know that the club are trying to bring in another teammate to help us, and if someone comes in, then it will be very welcome."

Celta Vigo are looking to reinforce their attack before the January window closes, with the club having scored just 18 times in the league the entire season.

Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao coach, Ernesto Valverde admits their performance wasn't good enough in the defeat to Celta Vigo and admitted his opponents were superior on Sunday, Tribal Football reports.
Aspas’s strike in the 70th minute proved decisive for Celta Vigo, who claimed maximum points to boost their chances of escaping relegation.
