It marked yet another turn in Berahino’s career, years after he took the Premier League by storm while playing for West Bromwich Albion.

As a matter of fact, it was at West Brom that Berahino rose to prominence, getting an impressive 36 goals and eight assists in 121 appearances.

At some point in his career, he was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham but it ultimately broke down.

His break-out campaign was in 2013-2014, where he made 32 Premier League appearances for the Baggies.

The following season, he would go on to score 20 goals in all competitions for West Brom, helping the club finish in 13th place in the league.

He has since gone on to represent clubs like Stoke City, Zulte Waregem in Belgium and Sheffield Wednesday.

Like Berahino, Mirallas also had quite a journey after leaving the Premier League.

Mirallas had stints at both Olympiacos and Fiorentina, as well as Royal Antwerp, Gaziantep and Moreirense.
