Harry Kane has been hailed by Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann as the German champions continue its search for a new center-forward following the departure of Robert Lewandowski.

Nagelsmann has been a huge fan of the Tottenham striker and believes the England forward will excel greatly if he decides to leave the Premier League for the Bundesliga.

Bayern has been rumoured to be interested in signing Harry Kane and the Bayern Munich boss has not ruled out a possible bid for the striker joining the Bundesliga champions in the future Daily Mail reports.

'He's very expensive that's the problem but brilliant player, one of two or three who can play as a centre-forward [as well as a] No 10, but he's very strong, brilliant with [his] head and both feet.
'He could score a lot in the Bundesliga, I don't know the price, but it's really tough for Bayern Munich. We'll see what happens in the future.'

Kane has been identified as the perfect replacement for Robert Lewandowski who left the German champions this summer to join Barcelona.

Bayern Munich uninterested in signing Frenkie de Jong

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will not pursue a deal to sign Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona this summer according to The Hard Tackle.

Manchester United is interested in the 25-year-old Barcelona midfielder, but he is not interested in signing with the English Premier League club.

Barcelona are keen on cashing in on De Jong in the summer transfer window as they try to ease their financial woes by raising cash with the sale of the Dutch midfielder.

Bayern Munich target Tottenham star Harry Kane

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Bayern Munich’s loss of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona this summer has led the Bundesliga club to search for a top-quality forward to lead their attack.

The Bavarians have signed Sadio Mane from Liverpool this summer, but they are also targeting Tottenham and England forward, Harry Kane.

Bayern Munich has already held talks with the 28-year-old’s representatives and they are confident they can sign the prolific striker next summer.
