Super Eagles Star Suffers Fresh Injury As His Premier League Club Makes Statement

Leicester City who are top Premier League side have confirmed that Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has suffered fresh injury in training ahead of the coming season in England.

The Nigerian star has not played for Leicester City since March and the injury he suffered also made him not to feature for the Super Eagles in their World Cup playoff against Ghana.

Wilfred Ndidi limped off from his side’s 2-1 second-leg defeat by Rennes in the Europa Conference League on March 17.

According to the report on GOAL, Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers explained that Wilfred Ndidi has suffered a knock in training stressing that it does not look like something serious.

“It’s a high ankle sprain, so he had a scan on it and it’ll hopefully be okay.
