Robert Lewandowski returned to training at Bayern Munich as they step up preparations for the new Bundesliga season.

The legendary forward has made no secret about his desire to leave Germany this summer, but Bayern have refused to budge unless they get an offer of at least 50 million euros.

And it appears he is intent on manifesting his wish to quit the Allianz Arena at every opportunity, as he showed little enthusiasm in training.

Lewandowski was not his usual self as he was cold and disinterested for the entire session at Sabener Strasse.

The Bayern and Germany outlet tweeted:

Lewandowski was the last to start all training exercises. He completed them but never with 100% commitment. He hardly spoke with his teammates. Only Leon Goretzka often spoke to Lewandowski today and Jamal Musiala engaged with him in some jokes.
There was no conversation with Nagelsmann either. When the coach gave his speech to the team, Lewandowski looked uninterested, stood on the outside and often looked away

The BILD reports that former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness is the stumbling block to Lewandowski's wishes. He still holds a considerable amount of influence and has refused to play ball on any figure less than 50 million euros.

Sports Brief had also reported that the saga around Robert Lewandowski and Bayern Munich is far from over, with the latter holding its ground over a possible exit.

Lewandowski had made it clear that he wanted to leave Allianz Arena this summer, but Bayern have refused to budge unless they get an offer of at least 50 million euros.

Barca Universal reports that Lewandowski's family have been left surprised about the treatment of the star. The family feels that the Bundesliga giants are ungrateful for all the things Lewandowski has done.
