Borussia Dortmund defender, Mats Hummels, has opened up on the team he wants to face in the Champions League final next month.

Edin Terzic's side delivered a stellar performance, securing a 1-0 victory against Paris St-Germain in Tuesday's semi-final second leg, ultimately sealing a 2-0 aggregate triumph.

Despite being fifth in the Bundesliga, trailing champions Bayer Leverkusen by 24 points, Dortmund managed to blank PSG twice, earning their ticket to the Champions League final for the first time since their defeat in the 2013 final.

The Black and Yellow, who last clinched the trophy in 1997, are now set to take on either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in next month's final, per Football Espana.

The other semi-final stands at 2-2 ahead of Wednesday's second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

When asked which team he wants to meet in the final on June 1 at Wembley, Hummels, who scored the only goal at Parc des Princes, said:

“I hope Bayern qualifies for the Champions League final. I’m hoping for a German final," the defender said via Bulinews.

Zidane backs Real Madrid to beat Bayern

Meanwhile, Sports Brief reported that Zinedine Zidane offered his perspective on the eagerly awaited Champions League second-leg semi-final clash between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich on May 8.

Despite Thomas Tuchel's formidable record against Los Blancos, Zizou, who was seen at the Miami Grand Prix on May 5, maintains confidence in Real Madrid, his former team, to emerge victorious.

Mbappe breaks silence on UCL exit

Sports Brief has also reported that Kylian Mbappe spoke about PSG's elimination from the Champions League.

The pacy forward failed to help his side beat Borussia Dortmund, blanking in both games amid a resolute defensive performance from the German side.

This was expected to be Mbappe's last hurrah with the French side ahead of an expected move to Real Madrid this summer.
