Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has reportedly landed a new job only months after receiving a four-year professional football ban.

The 31-year-old, previously under contract with Juventus, hasn't participated in a competitive match since September of last year.

Pogba's injury-plagued comeback to Juve took a downward spiral when he tested positive for unusually high levels of testosterone following a match against Udinese.

The subsequent four-year ban he received has jeopardised his return to the game until 2027.

By then, the 2018 World Cup winner may have found his top-tier career effectively ended as he will be in his mid-30s.

While Pogba was left 'sad and heartbroken' by the lengthy suspension meted out to him, he confirmed he would appeal the decision, as noted by GOAL.

Paul Pogba to start new career

However, in the interim, Pogba is set to star in a movie which will be launched next year April.

As reported by TalkSPORT, the ex-Manchester United star will portray the character of a youth team football coach in a French film named 4 Zeros, scheduled for release next year.

This film serves as a sequel to the 2002 release, 3 Zeros. Witnesses who observed Pogba during filming in Paris were purportedly astonished by his effortless performance.

He is familiar with the spotlight, having previously appeared in an Adidas 2018 World Cup advertisement alongside renowned figures like David Beckham and Lionel Messi.

Pogba keeps fit amid testosterone ban

Sports Brief also reported that Pogba remains committed to maintaining his fitness despite serving a four-year doping ban for elevated testosterone levels.

Sharing insight into his gruelling workout programmes in his post on Instagram, the former Man United star included the caption 'Expect the unexpected'.

Pogba has expressed a desire to proved his innocence and his social media activity suggests he believes he will be back in football action again shortly.
