Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has revealed that he has better dance moves than ex-Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.

The Arsenal star is in Ghana for the holidays, but missed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar due to injury.

However, in a chat with renowned Ghanaian journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah, the deputy Black Stars captain reacted to Ghana's World Cup qualification before disclosing he is dexterous when it comes to dancing.

"I quickly went to the dressing room when the violence broke so saw most of it on TV," he responded when asked about what happened in Abuja during the World Cup play-offs.
"I only saw most of it on TV. "

Thomas Partey went on to praise coach Otto Addo before speaking about his dance moves.

"He is a big man," referring to Otto Addo.
"I've got better moves than Asamoah Gyan. It's just because they don't see," he concluded.

The Black Stars team is famed for singing and dancing sessions before and after games, and Asamoah Gyan has always been the leader of the popular 'jama' time.

Players who arrived in the team for the first time also get initiated with a dance session.

Thomas Partey was at the Cape Coast stadium to watch the Black Stars play Madagascar in the opening Group E AFCON qualifiers.

The injured Arsenal midfielder made 24 English Premier League appearances, scoring two goals before the season ended.
