  • Senegal forward Sadio Mane has reportedly decided to quit Liverpool this summer after six years
  • Bayern Munich are strong contenders to sign the Senegalese winger who has won almost every trophy possible at Liverpool
  • Mane joined Liverpool in 2016 and has scored 120 goals in 269 appearances for the Merseysiders

Senegal international Sadio Mane has reportedly decided to bring his six-year stay at Liverpool to an end this summer.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 30-year-old is set to notify the Reds that he wants to leave the club this summer to look for a new challenge.

Mane's contract with Jurgen Klopp's side expires in 2023. That means that the upcoming transfer window is Liverpool's last chance to cash in on the forward.

Bayern Munich are known to be interested in the Senegalese, but no official offer has been submitted so far.

Sources in Germany indicate that Liverpool will demand €30 million for Mane. However, The Athletic claims that the club's asking price will be much higher.

Mane joined Liverpool in 2016. He has scored 120 goals in 269 appearances for the Reds, playing a crucial part in their Champions League and Premier League-winning campaigns in 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons, respectively.

Sadio Mane Shows His Kind Side After Liverpool's Champions League Final Defeat to Real Madrid

Sports Brief earlier reported that Sadio Mane showed his kind side after Liverpool's Champions League heartbreak as he was spotted comforting teammates after their defeat to Real Madrid.

The Reds were humbled 1-0 during the final of the European competition staged in Paris on Saturday night, May 28. Despite their dominance in the early exchanges of the encounter, Liverpool were unable to see off a spirited Real Madrid.

Vinicius Jr's 59th-minute goal was the only difference as Los Blancos held firm to the slim lead to storm to victory.
