  • A list of the 10 most valuable players was released with Real Madrid stars dominating
  • The Manchester City duo of Erling Haaland and Phil Foden are also placed in this list

The top 10 most valuable players in the world have been named, with Real Madrid stars dominating the list.

The La Liga giants have embarked on a new transfer strategy in recent years that has seen them snap up young talents.

One such example is Jude Bellingham, who joined the Spanish side in the summer from Borussia Dortmund.

According to Sky Sports, Real forked out an initial fee of £88.5 million - that could rise to £115mil - to land the services of the youngster.

In a new list released of the most valuable players in the world, the midfielder ranks second, behind fellow teammate, Vinicius Junior.

Bellingham, who has enjoyed a bright start to life in Spain, is currently understood to be worth €250mil, per CIES Football Observatory.

The figure is as much as what Vinicius Jr would also command in the current transfer market.

Most valuable players in the world

Manchester City ace, Erling Haaland ranks second on the list with a value of €250mil. He has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence in recent years, with his impressive debut season in England cementing his place as one of the most sought-after strikers.

At the time, the Norwegian scored the most goals in a single Premier League season to help the Citizens retain the domestic crown.

Elsewhere, Bukayo Saka and Kylian Mbappe are also among the most valuable players in the world right now.

Incredibly, Saka is currently more valuable than Mbappe, with the Arsenal youngster able to command a transfer fee of €200mil while the Paris Saint-Germain star valued at €150mil, with his uncertain future with the French club understood to have impacted his fee.

The Frenchman has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent weeks, having come close to departing Parc des Princes in the summer.

A short-term move to Saudi Arabia was initially mooted, only for the proposed transfer to fall through under unclear circumstances.

Bellingham equals Ronaldo's UCL record

After providing Vinicius Jr. with an assist, the midfielder went on to secure a goal for himself in the 34th minute with a sublime solo effort.
