Former Super Eagles defender Taribo West has been spotted on camera praying fervently for former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is aspiring to become the next president of Nigeria.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is planning to celebrate his 70th birthday and the likes of Taribo West, Nwankwo Kanu, Okocha and Tijani Babaginda were all invited for novelty match.

While the match will take place on Sunday, March 20th, 2020, the ex-players and the others invited for the game, were at the APC chieftain’s Lagos mansion on Saturday.

And in a video which has been trending on social media, Taribo West who is now a Pastor was spotted praying hardly for Bola Tinubu to become next president of Nigeria.

How many games did Taribo West play for the Super Eagles?

Between the year 1994-2005, Taribo West played 42 games for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and was unable to score any goal.
