Undertaker's age

The retired superstar is 57 years old (as of August 2022). The American served a very successful wrestling career. He made his professional debut in 1987 when he was 23; the rest is history. He went on to be one of the all-time greats in the ring.

Undertaker's career

He began training with Buzz Sawyer in late 1986; he despised Sawyer, who he claimed lacked commitment and delivered a poor education. He then learned "on the job."

Mark fought his first bout for World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) on June 26, 1987, as Texas Red, losing to Bruiser Brody in the Dallas Sportatorium.

Percival "Percy" Pringle III, who would eventually act as his manager in the WWF, escorted him to the ring (as Paul Bearer). Unfortunately, his beginnings in the industry have been clouded by two myths: the first is that he had his in-ring debut in 1984, and the second is that he was trained by former WCCW colleague Don Jardine (aka The Spoiler).

While Jardine never trained Mark, he admired his work and would imitate Jardine's top rope walk. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, "Undertaker's use of Jardine's approach gradually mutated into this narrative that Jardine trained him."

Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in October 1990 to portray McMahon's "brainchild," Kane the Undertaker.

Despite his bewildered, gloomy feelings about the gimmick, he gladly accepted the position, believing it was better than certain WWE gimmicks such as The Gobbledy Gooker. He was portrayed as a terrifying riff on the Wild West undertakers seen in television westerns.

As a result, the first edition of The Undertaker's series of Deadman incarnations has been dubbed "The Old West Mortician" in the media.

The Undertaker announced his retirement from the WWE on June 21, 2020, during the last instalment of the documentary Undertaker: The Last Ride; in a November interview, he stated that he was "officially retired."

Many wrestlers and other public personalities have paid him social media attention. Madison Square Garden, the most important professional wrestling venue, also paid tribute to him.

The Undertaker was formally inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1, 2022, at the American Airlines Center. He was inducted with a 137-minute speech that began with a 10-minute emotional standing ovation from the live audience, which brought him to tears.

Mark’s speech, which was lauded by media sources as "unrivalled and beyond comparison," revealed his collection of self-reflections and life philosophies for success.

During his lecture, he stood in front of many genres of his Deadman persona, represented by manikins dressed in various clothes. William appeared on the entrance stage on both nights of WrestleMania 38 later that weekend.

Undertaker's real name

He is well-known for his ring name. However, his real birth name is Mark William Calaway. Unfortunately, a very small percentage of his fans know his real name, and an even smaller percentage care to know his actual name.

Undertaker's house

The Deadman's ghastly home fits his on-screen persona well. A holy cross and statue give it the feel of a funeral home, and even the trees have perished.

Moreover, a lovely pool is in the centre of the Texas mansion, originally rented by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Undertaker's cars

Mark owns three cars: a Bentley Continental GT, a Ford Mustang, and a Mercedes-Benz W123 from 1978. Aside from them, The Undertaker has valuable stuff, such as his ring gear and the trucks he drove to the ring.

Undertaker's wife

He is married to Michelle McCool, a former WWE wrestler. McCool, like her husband, was a huge star in her own right. She won the Divas and Women's titles twice and is regarded as a pioneer of women's wrestling among fans.

Taker began dating Michelle McCool shortly after his divorce from Sara. They tied the knot on June 26, 2010. McCool is a sincere Christian, and her wrestling outfit features Christian crosses.

Undertaker's family

He is the eldest of five siblings. While The Phenom has become a WWE icon, many fans may be unaware that his elder brother, Timothy, was an in-ring performer before launching his own company.

Calaway and his first wife, Jodi Lynn, welcomed their son, Gunner Vincent, in 1993. From his second marriage to Sara Frank, the Deadman produced two daughters, Chasey and Gracie. His third and current wife, Michelle McCool, also had a third daughter, Kaia Faith.

Undertaker's death

The Deadman was his first gimmick, which began in the 1990s as the supernatural undead zombie who could never be killed no matter how many times he was buried alive or set on fire after being confined in a casket twice, once by Kane in 1998 and again by Randy Orton in 2005.

How much is Undertaker's worth in 2022? Having one of the most successful wrestling careers in the WWE, he is one of the richest retired stars. Undertaker's net worth is $17 million and will be on the rise if he continues focusing on his businesses.
