Who are Nick Suzuki's parents? Nick was born on 10th August 1999 in London, Ontario, to Rob and Amanda Suzuki. He was a victim of serious illnesses as a child, including hand, foot and mouth disease, pneumonia, respiratory syncytial virus, and a series of ear infections that led to surgery to insert ear tubes.

Finally, he underwent tympanoplasty to reduce the recurrence of the infections and immediately grew a love for hockey. At eight, he befriended his neighbour Isaac Ratcliffe whom they played golf and soccer during the summers, coached by Nick's dad. The two went on to play ice hockey for the London Jr. Knights of Alliance Hockey.

Suzuki joined the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) after being the fourteenth overall pick in the first round of the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. He performed extremely well in his rookie season, earning the Harry Lumley Memorial Award and being named to the OHL All-Rookie First Team. He went ahead to perform well.

Junior Career (Guelph Storm)

On 10th September 2018, while playing for Owen Sound, Suzuki was sent to the Montreal Canadiens, who later sent him to Guelph Storm.
