With so much to talk about, Sports Brief looks at 10 of the best moments from WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

10 best moments at WrestleMania 40

Rhea Ripley ends Becky Lynch

Ripley and Lynch got the action started on Night 1, as they competed for the Women's World Championship.

The Eradicator and The Man proved to be tough as nails, so picking up a win over each other would not be easy.

Needing to pull out the big guns to keep her opponent down for the three count, the champion hit two Riptides in a row on Lynch to claim the win.

One of those was into the turnbuckle for added damage.

Joaquin Wilde's high-flying moment

Wilde's journey in wrestling has been truly incredible.

The LWO member came close to dying a few years back from an injury he sustained while wrestling, but is now earning rave reviews for his performances with the WWE.

Wilde had a WrestleMania moment on Night 1 when he was launched off the ropes to take out Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo.

The move continues to astound fans because of the hangtime Wilde seems to get while doing it.

R-Truth being R-Truth

There's no denying that Truth is a comedic genius.

The veteran has continually keeps fellow wrestlers and audiences entertained with his in-ring antics, and WrestleMania was no different.

Heading into the Six Pack Ladder Match on Night 1, much was made of Truth's record at Mania. The former 24/7 champion had not picked up a win on the grandest stage of 'em all, but that changed when he pinned Finn Balor during the match.

The only problem was that it was a ladder match, and pinfalls didn't decide the winner.

He would make things right later when he won the Raw Tag Team Titles with The Miz.

Sami Zayn's brain buster to Gunther

Gunther's reign as Intercontinental champion ended at WrestleMania, but there is no denying that he will go down as one of the greatest champions ever.

The leader of Imperium held the tile for 666 days, making him the longest-reigning champion in history.

It needed a Herculean effort to win the title off him finally, and Zayn achieved that at Mania.

The Canadian pulled off an insane sequence to end the match, one that started with a nasty brainbuster on the turnbuckle.

Rollins and Rhodes' dual Pedigrees

The Pedigree was made famous by Paul 'Triple H' Levesque during his time as an active performer, and it still makes an appearance through tributes to him.

With many superstars using WrestleMania weekend to talk about his leadership of the company, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes took it one step further during their match against The Rock and Roman Reigns.

Both men hit the Pedigree simultaneously on their opponents, but it was not enough to pick up the win.

Tommaso Ciampa also performed a version of the move during the ladder match earlier on Night 1.

Damian Priest cashes in

A lot of people have been wondering when Señor Money in the Bank would finally cash in.

After losing the Undisputed Tag Team Titles on Night 1, it seemed like it was just a matter of time before he pursued a singles title run.

The WWE universe didn't have to wait long for that to happen, as Priest took advantage of CM Punk and Drew McIntyre feuding to cash in on the Scottish Psychopath.

Bubba Ray Dudley calls the shots

Night 2 of WrestleMania 40 had a lot of action-packed moments, but it also featured some light-hearted stuff.

Bubba Ray Dudley serving as a special guest referee during the Philly Street Fight not only was unexpected but also brought with it a throwback to another fun era.

Bubba not only brought out his trademark glasses, he also encouraged Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits to get the tables.

The best bit was when Bubba helped set up a nostalgic moment, one made famous by the Dudley Boyz.

LA Knight's suplex to AJ Styles

LA Knight has been one of WWE's faster-rising stars, and he finally got his WrestleMania moment when he took on AJ Styles on Night 2.

The duo have been embroiled in a bitter feud since Styles returned from injury and settled their differences at 'Mania.

The match proved to be an entertaining affair, with both men using some hard-hitting offence.

One of the bigger moves was when Knight executed an Avalanche German Suplex, turning the tide in the match.

Kevin Owens offers Orton a lift

Owens and Randy Orton were opponents going into WrestleMania, but they were also keen to dethrone Logan Paul.

The duo were in a Triple Threat match with the social media megastar for the United States title, and started off the match teaming up on the champ.

KO and Orton were already teaming up even before the action got underway, as Owens offered The Viper a lift down to the ring for the match.

Iyo counters the Rose Plant

Bayley has evolved as a wrestler, and so has her finisher.

The former leader of Damage CTRL once finished off opponents with the Bayley to Belly, but now relies on the Rose Plant to get the job done.

The move isn't easy to counter, but Sky does the difficult things with ease.

The former WWE Women's champion managed to avoid damage from the move while still landing on her feet.

Unfortunately, while she countered it once, she couldn't do it a second time and lost her title.

Legends return at WrestleMania

The main event promised multiple surprises thanks to the Bloodline Rules stipulation.

With no count out or disqualifications, anything could have happened, and anyone could have shown up.

That was certainly the case as Jimmy Uso first interfered before Jey came out, before Solo Sikoa got involved, only to be confronted by John Cena.

The Rock then dealt with Cena because Rollins showed up in his old Shield gear.

That wasn't the end of the surprises, either. The Undertaker suddenly appeared and chokeslammed The People's Champion before leaving just as quickly.
