As reported by MMA News, Dana White revealed that Adesanya has already been chomping at the bit to get back into the cage and has been in constant talks with the UFC's top brass to find him an opponent.

"This guy was already calling Hunter and the boys up - 'When’s my next fight, when’s my next fight, I want to fight again, I want to fight again'," White said.

White admitted the tenacity of the Last Stylebender was admirably.

"He wants to fight non-stop, constantly, and he wants to fight everybody. We’re working on that, and he’ll fight again soon, maybe before the end of the summer."

While no opponent has been found yet for the Nigerian-born New Zealander, Izzy has no shortage of possible opponents.

Alex Pereira has opted to move over to Light Heavyweight, ruling out a rematch with his rival, but the Middleweight division is still stacked with contenders.

Robert Whittaker is the current number-one ranked contender and recently took issue with Adesaya mocking Pereira’s son, Lowkick MMA reported.

However, Adesanya has beaten Whittaker twice before and isn’t keen on him fighting him a third time.

Marvin Vettori has also lost twice to Adesanya but is the second-ranked contender. Dricus Du Plessis and Sean Strickland are viable contenders for the crown, but Adesanya wants them to win more fights before they can step up to him.

Jan Blachowicz has also hinted he will be keen to drop down to Middleweight to fight Adesanya, this time for his belt.

Who could Adesanya face next?

As reported, Adesanya faces no shortage of challengers after winning back the UFC Middleweight title.

The Nigerian-born Kiwi defeated Pereira for the title in the main event of UFC 287 and wants more fights.
