USA

The Americans head into the World Cup as the odds-on favourites to win Group C, thanks to their depth.

All 12 members of Team USA play in the NBA. They are Paolo Banchero, Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, Jaren Jackson Jr., Cam Johnson, Walker Kessler, Bobby Portis, and Austin Reaves.

They have been playing well in their exhibition matches, posting a perfect 5-0 record. Edwards exploded for 34 points in USA's 99-91 win over Germany last Sunday, per Sports Illustrated.

They are pegged at -2500 to finish as Group C winners.

Greece

Greece may be missing the services of two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, but they still have a loaded lineup for the World Cup.

Georgios Papagiannis, a former player of the Sacramento Kings, will be the one tasked to lead Greece in the tournament.

He averaged 16.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest on 71 percent shooting in three games played with the national team in qualifiers.

He showed his mettle in the exhibition game against USA, scoring 11 points in the 108-86 loss.

They are pegged at +900 to finish as Group C winners.

New Zealand

Finn Delany is expected to carry the scoring cudgels for the Tall Blacks in the World Cup. He has been in fine form of late, leading New Zealand in scoring in three of their four exhibition matches against Italy, Canada, and China.

He shot 37.6 percent from beyond the arc last season in Germany’s top basketball league.

New Zealand will need Delany’s outside shooting for them to advance to the second round.

They are priced at +4000 to win Group C.

Jordan

Jordan are long shots to reach the second round of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

They are 1-9 in their last two World Cup appearances in 2010 and 2019, per FIBA.com.

To bolster their squad for this year’s World Cup, they added former NBA star Rondae Hollis-Jefferson as their naturalized player.

They are pegged at +7900 to win Group C.
