The Philadelphia 76ers evened their Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Boston Celtics at two games apiece after recording a thrilling 116-115 win on Sunday.

James Harden and Joel Embiid starred for the Sixers, combining for 76 points in the overtime victory.

Action shifts to Boston for Game 5 on Tuesday night.

Harden and Embiid lead Sixers 

Harden scored 42 points, dished out nine assists, grabbed eight rebounds, and recorded four steals in the win against the Celtics.

He shot 16 of 23 from the field, including 6 of 9 from beyond the arc.

Harden made the biggest basket of the contest, knocking down the game-winning 3-pointer with 18.2 seconds remaining in overtime, per ESPN.

Embiid also delivered for the Sixers, registering a double-double with 34 points and 13 rebounds.

He also had four assists, the last of which came on his pass to Harden for the go-ahead three in the extra period.

Tyrese Maxey was the other starter to score in double figures for the Sixers, dropping 14 points in Game 4.

He also had eight rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block in 45 minutes of play.

Harden clutch in Game 4 

The Celtics went on a 24-13 run in the fourth quarter to turn a 92-83 deficit into a 107-105 lead with 51 seconds remaining.

Harden took matters into his own hands with the Sixers’ playoff lives hanging in the balance, draining a floating jump shot with 16 seconds left to knot the score at 107-107.

The Celtics had an opportunity to win Game 4 in regulation, but Marcus Smart missed his 3-pointer at the buzzer.

They had another chance to win Game 4 in overtime, but Smart’s 3-pointer came after the buzzer sounded.

Lakers crush Warriors by 30 

Sports Brief recently reported on the Lakers’ win over the Warriors in Game 3 of their series.

Anthony Davis scored 25 points to lead Los Angeles to a 127-97 victory over Golden State.

The Lakers pulled away in the second quarter after going on a 30-8 run.
