It’s only fitting that the first playoff meeting between the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors will be decided by a Game Seven.
The Kings may have home-court advantage in Sunday’s crunch clash, but the Warriors have a clear edge in terms of playoff experience.
Steph Curry has played 140 games in the postseason, four of which were Game Sevens.

Warriors vs. Clippers (2014)
Curry’s first taste of a Game 7 happened on May 3, 2014, when the Warriors faced the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs.
Curry didn’t let the occasion faze him, recording 33 points, nine assists, five rebounds, and three steals in 46 minutes of action.
However, Curry’s effort went for naught as the Warriors lost to the Clippers 126-121.
Warriors coach Mark Jackson was later fired with Steve Kerr, the one hired to replace him.
Warriors vs. Thunder (2016)
The Warriors headed into Game 7 of the 2016 Western Conference Finals with momentum on their side. They had just won the previous two games to level the series at 3-3.
The Warriors looked to be on their way out of the playoffs in Game 6, trailing by double-digits in the fourth quarter. Klay Thompson wouldn’t let Golden State’s title defense end, making 11 3-pointers and scoring 41 points in the Warriors’ 108-101 win.

NBAIt was Curry’s turn to lead the Warriors in Game 7 against the Thunder. He finished with 36 points, eight assists, and five rebounds in Golden State’s 96-88 win over OKC.
Warriors vs. Cavs (2016)
The joy of that comeback win against the Thunder was short-lived, though, as Golden State suffered the same fate as Oklahoma City in the 2016 NBA Finals.
The Warriors squandered a 3-1 lead in the championship series, with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers lifting the trophy after a memorable Game 7.
Curry struggled in the series finale, recording 17 points, five rebounds, and two assists. He also committed four turnovers in the Warriors’ 93-89 loss to the Cavs.
Warriors vs. Rockets (2018)
The Warriors forced a winner-take-all Game 7 in the 2018 Western Conference Finals with a come-from-behind victory over the Rockets in Game 6. Golden State rallied from 15 points down in that contest to arrange the knockout match.
Stephen Curry confident after Warriors defeat in Game 1
NBAGolden State got off to a poor start in Game 7, with the defending champions trailing by as many as 17 points in the first half. The Warriors didn't panic as they slowly chipped away the Rockets' lead.
Curry fueled the comeback win, scoring 14 of his 27 points in the pivotal third quarter, per ESPN.
Golden State outscored Houston 33-15 during that period, turning an 11-point deficit at the half into a seven-point lead after three quarters.
The Rockets struggled with their outside shooting in the second half, missing 20 of their 21 attempts from the 3-point area.
The Warriors won 101-92 to advance to their fourth straight NBA Finals.
