After winning the NBA title in 2020, the Lakers have struggled, going out in the first round in 2021 and completely missing the playoffs last season.

This season, they started with a dreadful 2-10 record but finished well with a winning record. The Grizzlies will be no pushovers. They have shown in the last two seasons why they can be a stubborn opponent.

James breaks down Grizzlies' roster

The Grizzlies finished second in the Western Conference with a 51-31 record. Players from the Grizzlies stole the headlines several times this season. Their best player, Ja Morant, was seen holding a gun in an Instagram Live video, while Dillon Brooks had run-ins with a few NBA players.

James went through Memphis' roster and dissected almost every player, per LA Times.

A really good team,” James said. “Very well-coached. Very well-balanced. Obviously, the head of the snake is Ja Morant. But there’s another All-Star in Jaren Jackson, who was up there for defensive player of the year. His ability to block shots but also offensively, he’s very dynamic as well."

He went on to name a few more players in their roster, highlighting their strengths.

Morant finished the season averaging 26.2 points per game, 15th best in the NBA, and eighth in assists (8.1). Jackson is a Defensive Player of the Year contender, as he led the league in blocks per game (3.0).

Luke Kennard led the league in three-point shooting (49.4%), while Banes was 26th (40.8%) and Brooks is a physical defender.

James reacts to historic season

Sports Brief earlier reported on James reacting to a record-breaking season where he became NBA's all-time leading scorer after passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record that had stood since 1984.

James played his 20th season and averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 56 games.

"Easter Sunday’s Best!! My last regular season game in year 20 was fun fun fun!!!! To be continue folks! Love."
