The Los Angeles Clippers continued their dominance over the Lakers, beating their crosstown rivals 125-118 on Wednesday night in a game with significant playoff implications.

Lue is the first head coach to begin his tenure with a team by winning his first 11 games against the Lakers.

Clippers win (April 4, 2021)

The Clippers eased past the Lakers in their game on April 4, 2021, recording a 104-86 win. Marcus Morris and Kawhi Leonard starred for the Clips, who ended their two-game losing skid.

Morris scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the victory. Leonard nearly posted a triple-double, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.

They wreaked havoc against the Lakers, who were without injured All-Star duo James and Davis.

The Clippers stretched their unbeaten run against the Lakers to nine games with a 114-101 win on November 9, 2022.

James scored 30 points before leaving the court with discomfort in his left leg. The Lakers’ record stood at 2-9 after that loss, with an abysmal 0-5 slate on the road.

The Clippers’ winning streak against the Lakers hit double digits on January 24, 2023. They recorded their 10th consecutive win against their crosstown rivals with a 133-115 victory.

The Clips were red-hot from beyond the arc, hitting 19 3-pointers. Mann, Powell, and Jackson each had four 3-pointers.
