Wiggins made it clear that family is the most important thing for him. He said:

"When you're in a certain situation, and your family needs you and requires your attention and your love, that's my first priority.

Wiggins has missed the Warriors’ last 22 games because of a family matter. He didn’t divulge the reason behind his long absence in the press conference.

He said he’d rather keep that private for himself, his family, and the people close to the family who need to know.

Shams Charania reported on Monday that the Warriors star’s absence is because of his father’s “serious medical condition.”

Wiggins' return boosts Warriors

The question now is: when will Wiggins return to the Warriors’ lineup?

The Warriors need him badly as they are locked in a tight battle for a guaranteed playoff spot in the West. They are sixth in the Western Conference with three games remaining on their schedule.

They are in danger of dropping to the play-in spots as the Los Angeles Lakers, and the New Orleans Pelicans are just a half-game behind them.

Wiggins said it wouldn’t be long before he’s back on the court again, per Sports Illustrated.

He said that he got a lot of shots up and lifted a couple of times during his time away from the Warriors. Wiggins added that he was on the court, getting a lot of work in.

Myers said the Warriors' medical staff would decide when Wiggins returns to the court.

Wiggins' return excites Warriors fans

Sports Brief recently reported on Wiggins' impending return.

Fans were delighted to learn he is back for the Warriors' playoff push.

One supporter said that is "great news for the squad," while another fan said, "This makes Golden State an instant title contender again!"
