Tatum wins All-Star MVP

Tatum also grabbed ten rebounds and dished out six assists. Those numbers were enough to net him the Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP trophy, per Yahoo! Sports.

Donovan Mitchell gave Tatum a tough fight for the award, with the former Utah star scoring 40 points in his return. That performance was not enough to beat Tatum, who nabbed 11 of the 12 votes for the MVP award.

Tatum and Brown square off

The All-Star Game turned into the Boston Celtics show in the third quarter, with Tatum and Jaylen Brown matching up, much to the crowd's delight.

The two stars went 1-on-1 against each other for several plays, with Tatum and Brown trading baskets. Brown led the way for Team LeBron, finishing with 35 points and 14 rebounds.

Tatum, Brown, and the other All-Stars picked up the slack, with team captains, James and Antetokounmpo unable to finish the game due to various injuries.

Giannis injured his wrist right before the All-Star Weekend and played only the first 20 seconds. LeBron scored 14 points in the first half but did not appear in the final two quarters after suffering a finger injury.

James selects Irving in draft

Sports Brief recently reported on James selecting Kyrie Irving for his team in the NBA All-Star Draft.

Fans took to social media to react to the reunion, with some calling it a preview of their Lakers team-up next season.

Irving, who currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks, is set to become a free agent at the end of the season.
