Ahmed Musa has broken Nigeria record in all-time appearance list after playing and scoring for the Super Eagles on Sunday evening, November 13, in their 2-0 win over Liberia.

The encounter against Liberia was a 2022 World Cup qualifier played in Morocco in which Napoli forward Victor Osimhen scored the first goal before Ahmed Musa came on in the second half to get his own acording to GOAL.

Encounter against Liberia was Ahmed Musa's 102nd game for the Super Eagles which is an incredible one as the former Kano Pillars' striker has now gone past Vincent Enyeama and Joseph Yobo.

Ahmed Musa equalled the duo’s feat having earned his 101st cap in the three-time African champions’ 2-0 win over the Central African Republic on October 10.

AS reports that the Nigerian team knew anything short of victory against Liberia could spell doom for their chances of qualifying for Qatar, and they proved their mettle.
