Former Nigerian international, Sunday Oliseh has hailed Victor Osimhen for his impressive performances for Napoli in recent times.
The former Lille of France striker recently received the prestigious Global Soccer Award, as the Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year.
Osimhen edged out Barcelona’s Gavi and Federico Valverde of Real Madrid to the prize.
Upon receiving the award, the 24-year-old thanked everyone involved for the recognition, and expressed appreciation for those who had supported him over the years.

The 1996 Olympic gold medalist and AFCON 1994 winner joined several football legends in praising the attacker.
Oliseh he took to his Twitter to retweet Osimhen’s post after receiving the Globe Soccer Award, with the following caption:
“Pure talent!!”
Osimhen has continued to impress in Italy, as he becames the first player to score ten goals in the ongoing 2022/2023 season.
Meanwhile, former Juventus midfielder, Raffaele Ametrano has named named Osimhen the best striker presently in Italy, revealing he has been impressed with the striker's games.
The Super Eagles youngster has commanded much respect since he moved to Napoli from Lille in 2022, and has continued to score goals for Gli Azzurri.
Ametrano explained that Osimhen is a player who would continue shining for Napoli and his country of Nigeria.

FootballSports Brief earlier reported that Osimhen recently equalled George Weah, reaching the goal record set by Liberian legend in the Italian Serie A.
The Super Eagles striker was in action and scored as Napoli beat Sampdoria 2-0, to extend their lead in the league standings to seven.
Osimhen’s goal made him the second African player to score more than 10 goals in three different Serie A campaigns, after Weah in 1995/96, 1996/97 and 1997/98 with AC Milan.
