Nigerians attack Super Eagles player after defeat against Algeria in Oran

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerians have expressed their disappointment over the performance of goalkeeper Francis Uzoho during the international friendly encounter against Algeria on Tuesday night, 27 September.

Despite coach Jose Peseiro promising Nigerians that his wards would win the battle in Oran hours before kickoff, the Super Eagles were unable to soar against their opponents.

Players of the Super Eagles started the tie impressively, with the likes of Moses Simon and Moffi firing on all cylinders up front against the Algerians.

The breakthrough eventually came for the Super Eagles in the 9th minute when Terem Moffi opened scoring, which made Nigerian football fans happy.

After conceding against the Super Eagles, Algerian players changed their style of play on the pitch and it paid off before the end of the first half, as Riyad Mahrez restored parity for them.
