Brendan Rodgers who is the handler of Premier League side Leicester City has stated clearly that Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is having problems with his knee.

This latest development will come as a disappointing one for all Nigerian football lovers considering the coming two games in the World Cup play-off against Ghana.

Wilfred Ndidi limped off on the hour mark in Leicester City’s 2-1 defeat to Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes and there have been serious concerns by fans about the injury.

There is no doubt about the fact that Wilfred Ndidi is an important player for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Leicester City considering his superb performances over the years.

According to the report on Complete Sports and Soccernet, Brendan Rodgers explained that medical staff will continue accessing and treating the Nigerian midfielder.
