Roma Legend Francesco Totti Embroiled in Petty Handbag Feud with Ex Wife

Francesco Totti has accused his ex-wife Ilary Blasi of stealing his Rolex watches, as the aftermath of the divorce threatens to get messy.

The 45-year-old, who spent 24 years as a Roma player, claimed in September that his marriage ultimately broke down because his wife did not support him upon retirement from the game in 2017.

COVID-19 also did little to help the situation as the couple grew further apart, especially because Totti was in limbo over his next step after quitting football.

After a tumultuous relationship, it was finally announced in June 2022 that Totti would be separating from the former showgirl and TV presenter who is the mother of their three children.

In addition, there were also cheating claims on Totti’s end as he claimed Blasi’s infidelity affected his mental health.

Pettiness over Rollies and handbags

According to Corriere della Sera, Blasi took some expensive watches belonging to Totti and in retaliation , the retired striker confiscated her handbags.

Totti was hoping to be able to negotiate an exchange with his ex-wife during one of their impending court hearings.

Daily Mail further reports Totti is also in possession of several pairs of shoes belonging to his ex-wife, worth £3,500.

"What could I do? I hid her handbags, hoping we could trade," he said in an interview.

The two are set for their first court hearing on Friday, October 14 and it is through these hearings that their possessions will be split.

Blasi recently shared an interesting video on her social media where she was in front of a Rolex shop. The video was presumably a mocking tactic towards Totti following the allegations.

Earlier, Totti admitted he had hoped the divorce proceedings would not lead to a court battle.

In September, Sports Brief also reported of the end of Wanda Nara's relationship with Mauro Icardi.

The couple has had a rocky relationship over the past year, and were reported to have called it quits in October 2021 when Icardi went on a bizarre Instagram episode.
