According to the legendary midfielder, he first heard infidelity rumours involving his wife from people close to him.

While it was difficult for Totti to believe them, he decided to undertake his own investigation.

The former midfielder divulged that he confirmed the rumours as true after looking at Illary's phone.

The discovery, Totti says, drove him into depression - an experience he has been struggling with.

“Here was the evidence. The facts. And that led to depression. I couldn’t sleep anymore. I pretended nothing was wrong, but I was no longer me, I was someone else. I got out of it thanks to Naomi," he added.
