Black Stars striker, Felix Afena-Gyan, has expressed delight over the arrival of Argentine midfielder Paulo Dybala to AS Roma.

Paulo Dybala signed a three-year-deal to join AS Roma in the summer transfer window after leaving Juventus.

Afena-Gyan met the ex-Juventus star and has been training with the midfielder ahead of the start of the new season.

"Surely it's a great pleasure for me to share the locker room with a big player like Dybala, it's a pleasure to be able to talk to him and train with him," he said as quoted by Footballghana.com.

Afena-Gyan signed a new long term deal at AS Roma in the summer transfer window and will be hoping to get more play time in the upcoming campaign.

AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho promoted the 19-year-old to the first team last season. Afena-Gyan made 17 appearances last season, scoring two goals.

"I'm still young, I still have many years of career ahead, I still have a lot to learn, especially from the coach. it's not a problem for me, I'm sure my time will come and I'll have to take the opportunity," added Afena-Gyan.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho and England striker Tammy Abraham were left in disbelief after Ghanaian teen sensation Felix Afena-Gyan netted a brilliant goal in their pre-season friendly against Sunderland.

The Black Stars forward opened the scoring and created an assist as AS Roma defeated the English outfit 2-0 on Wednesday.

In a video posted on social media, Mourinho quickly run to Abraham as the two reacted to Afena-Gyan's strike.
