Tottenham make contact with Nagelsmann

Meanwhile, Tottenham have contacted former the Bayern Munich head coach about the vacant position at the club following Antonio Conte's departure, Skysports reports.

Conte left the North London club under a cloud on Sunday night, after publicly criticising his players in the wake of the draw at relegation-threatened Southampton.

It is believed that his now infamous outburst led to his sacking by Spurs.

Tottenham has since confirmed that Cristian Stellini, Conte's assistant and countryman, would remain at the club and lead the team as interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

Nagelsmann’s sad altercation with Mane

In related coverage, Sports Brief reported on Nagelsmann's dressing room bust-up with Bayern's Senegalese superstar, Sadio Mane.

The incident is alleged to have occurred after the Bavarians' second-leg Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

It was reported the former Liverpool forward was unhappy that Nagelsmann only brought him on late against the French side.
