German legend Toni Kroos has said that he has no sympathy for Eden Hazard’s situation at Real Madrid.

Hazard’s stay at Madrid has been one filled with too many disappointments, as the 31-year-old winger has struggled with injuries and loss of form in his three years with Los Blancos.

The 32-year-old has only made 6 appearances for Real Madrid this season, with 3 of them in La Liga, as he has fallen down the pecking order at the Spanish champions.

Just last week, Hazard disclosed that he barely speaks to Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The former Chelsea winger still has one more year left on his current contract with Los Blancos, but it’s understood Madrid are looking to offload the playmaker at the end of the season.

But Kroos says he has no sympathy for Hazard over his lack of playing time.

‘It’s a difficult situation for him. For a long time. But pity is out of place in football,’ Kroos told Eleven Sports, via Metro Sports.
‘I don’t believe Eden has a bad life. You can feel sorry for people who have it much worse than Eden.

Hazard wanted by Newcastle and Aston Villa

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard could make a shock return to the English Premier League as Newcastle United and Aston Villa are said to be interested in signing the Real Madrid winger, Metro UK reports.

Real Madrid are ready to cut their losses and get rid of Hazard at the earliest opportunity and may be considering offloading the Belgium international in January.

Hazard’s current contract with Real expires in 2024 and Newcastle are now heavy favourites to land the 31-year-old winger as they try to strengthen their squad.

Hazard frustrated with game time

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Eden Hazard is presently not happy with his predicament at Real Madrid, as the Belgian winger has struggled for game time under manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The 31-year-old has had just two starts this season and has found the net once in four appearances for the Spanish and European champions.

Hazard described his situation at Real Madrid as delicate and opened up on his wishes to get more game time.
