“I’m very happy to play in my first El Clasico at the Bernabeu in front of the Madrid fans”, as per reports from Marca.
“It’s a special match, the most important in the world. Both teams want to win, but we are going to do everything to win.
“When I think of El Clasico, my first memory is the celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo asking for calm when scoring at the Camp Nou.”

Ronaldo scored the winning goal as Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid recorded a famous 2-1 victory over Pep Guardiola's Barcelona at the Camp Nou in April 2012.

The Manchester United superstar is the joint-highest scorer for the Los Merengues in El Clasico history, with 18 goals.

Carlo Ancelotti Mocks Barcelona

Sports Brief earlier reported that Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti is feeling confident ahead of El Clasico against Barcelona, as Los Blancos seek to reclaim the top spot in La Liga from the Catalans.

Real Madrid will host Xavi’s men at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Sunday, October 16 in the first leg of the biggest game in Spain - and Ancelotti has chosen to motivate his players by mocking Barcelona.

According to Barca Universal, the Italian manager has urged his Real Madrid players that now is the best time to strike against Barcelona, as they are short on confidence heading to El Clasico.
