Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has urged club fans to respect Kylian Mbappe’s decision to stay at Paris Saint-Germain despite being heavily linked with the La Liga giants.

Benzema who is Mbappe’s teammate in the French national team maintained that their relationship will not be affected after the 23-year-old ignored the move to the Spanish capital.

Mbappe led Ligue 1 scorers’ chart with 28 goals this season and reports earlier suggested that he already agreed to personal terms to join Real Madrid as his contract with the Parisians expires in June, Metro reports.
