  • Rodriguez claimed the Frenchman is keen to follow in Cristiano Ronaldo's footsteps

Buttressing Mbappe's admiration for Madrid and CR7, his former teammate Jese, who also played for Los Blancos revealed:

“At PSG, Mbappé always asked about Real Madrid & Cristiano who has always been his idol, he always talked about him," Jese told Diario via MadridXtra.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé has refused to rule out the possibility of joining Real Madrid despite snubbing the Spanish giants to extend his stay with the Parisians earlier in the summer.

Mbappé was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer but opted to sign a lucrative three-year contract extension with PSG.
