Paris Saint-Germain have finally announced the sacking of manager Mauricio Pochettino after 18 months in charge of the French champions without winning the Champions League.

The Argentine football gaffer led PSG to the Ligue 1 title last season, but exiting the Champions League at the round of 16 stage to Real Madrid seems to be one of the key reasons for his departure.

Nice boss Christophe Galtier has now been tipped as a replacement for Maurico Pochettino as the club's chiefs are looking for a good gaffer who can handle the big players.

PSG Announce Signing of Former Premier League Star As Squad Revamp Continues in Paris

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how French club Paris Saint-Germain announced the signing of former Wolves flop Vitinha who signed a five-year deal with the Parisians.

It was gathered that the Ligue 1 outfit agreed to a fee of around £35million to ensure that the 22-year-old becomes their first signing of the summer as the player relishes a new challenge.

Vitinha featured in 59 matches for Porto since his professional debut in 2020 and he helped the club to win the Portuguese League last season, as well as two domestic cups.

The youngster has featured for the Portugal national football team three times and he is delighted to move to the French capital.

Vitinha graduated from Porto’s youth team after spending most of his career in his home country, but he moved to the Premier League on loan, joining Wolves.
